Fresh Green Beans are a staple in my house. I have a slight addiction to them. This recipe calls for bacon. Just know, goodness awaits!

Fresh Green Beans
A classic way to prepare fresh Green Beans

Ingredients
  1. Fresh green beans
  2. 3 strips of bacon chopped
  3. 1/3 cup chopped or pearl onions
  4. Pinch of red pepper flakes
  5. 2 pats of butter or enough evoo to coat pan
  6. Salt
Instructions
  1. Rinse fresh green beans
  2. Snip ends (optional)
  3. Boil green beans in salted water for 4-7 minutes until tender
  4. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking, set aside.
  5. Sauté onions until tender
  6. After your onions are tender, transfer sliced bacon to pan and cook until lightly crispy
  7. Add green beans to pan
  8. Add bacon and red pepper flakes
  9. Toss to combine
  10. Season with salt
  11. Sauté for 3-5 mins
  12. Serve with your favorite dish
