A few weeks ago, I posted a succulent recipe for Savory Popovers and well it’s been a favorite in my household for a while. During testing, (I like to hold my family and friends to rigorous testing measures of eating! lol) I ended up with batter left over from the popovers. What I did with this batter… changed how I looked at pancakes forever. I dropped my batter into a heated skillet with Butter… and well… Deliciousness occurred.
The recipe for the pancake can be found here. Yep, it’s the same as the popover recipe. Modification: Heat a skillet and/or griddle, melt some butter, ladle the batter and cook into golden. Serve with sour cream, greek yogurt or even syrup! Celebrate National Breakfast month with a change up on your pancakes. Load them with Cheese, Chives and Bacon. Make them savory!
