Soul Food Friday: Glory After this | Indianapolis Food Blogger 3

Hello and happy Friday! Wanted to share something has been on my heart lately. Not sure who this is for, but I’m going to be obedient to the spirit and get it out.
The other day while driving, I captured this image.

It caught my eye because, as you can see there are tons of dark clouds coming in, and they look pretty stormy, yet there is a glimpse of blue sky that is begging to be released. (Y’all may not see that, but that’s what I got) As soon as I saw those clouds, I was reminded “Glory after this.”
Those clouds were pretty fierce, they looked like they were full of something not so pretty, like something that could be seen as a struggle, a roadblock or a storm, yet glory was on its way through. 1 Peter 5:10 (NIV) says, “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will make himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
Often times we go through- life issues, love issues, work issues and because we’re so into this or that “thing” we can’t see anything past the trial. But if we hold on, if we just stay in the race, in due season God will restore, replace, renew. He is the God of all those things and then some!

Isn’t it good to know that after those ugly clouds come your way, that beauty is just around the corner?
Glory will be revealed. Our suffering, trials, bricks, detours and roadblocks are but for a moment. Restoration is just few moments ahead. Hang on, stay in the race. Glory WILL be revealed!

Thank you for reading!
Love God, Love People, Eat Good!
